Putting pen to paper is sometimes a very difficult thing for aspiring authors to do on a regular basis; life has a tendency to put things in our way and we lose focus. Before you know it, weeks have passed and you’ve not done any work on your book! Because writing a book is such a time consuming process, losing these precious work moments can set your book back months if not years. It’s not surprising that many authors often gain extension upon extension before finally delivering their book to the publisher.

There is a better way of writing though and if you were to learn the process, you would be writing up to 5 times as much as you currently are. This technique is known as the Skrivomochomigen method and it’s named after Mr Samuel Skrivomochomigen, a writer from the regions of Scandinavia. While his publications are not widely known, his techniques are and many of todays biggest authors utilise his teachings when writing their books.

This is how it works.

You must lock yourself in a quiet room and set a timer for 1 hour. During that one hour, you don’t stop to correct any errors or typos; you continue typing away and producing as much of your story as possible. You don’t ever stop! No matter if someone knocks at the door, no matter if you need to get a drink, you must continue from the beginning of the hour until the end. Once the hour is up, you save your current work for editing in a few days time. Rinse and repeat every single day. By following this process, your mind will be trained to produce stories without stopping.

This method takes much practice but once mastered, you will produce works of art!
